Perhaps Zuni will contact the owners of Canto and request a current photo of Canto. Sementor GSD and Ovejero, regarding the original topic evolving, you are correct. However, Zuni actually invited a discussion of breeding untitled dogs, by stating her intentions to breed her untitled female to Canto, and marketing the 2-3 Ursus linebreeding, and how she intended to help Canto's future progeny group with her "illegitimate" puppies and so on. This is nothing new, as Zuni has posted on other boards touting her name brand bloodlines. It is really Zuni's resistance to titling that gets legitimate breeders' knickers in a wad. Sadly, this is what the topic about Canto has become. Perhaps the topic SHOULD be moved, but if folks are using this site as a reference source, and are considering using Canto, then they might be interested in the discussion. So far, the Moderators haven't moved it, so I guess it stays here, for now. And, who ever heard of keeping an upcoming sensational stud dog "Hush-Hush", spiriting him around the world for training?

Kerry, since they have not unsubscribed me - yet- you are completely wrong and without a common sense of business as well as courtesy. You lack just about everything.
Overejo : I believe I know who you are. In some points I agree. What is this fuss about anyway. Time will tell right.
However, you know nothing about this dog Canto other than his FABULOUS pedigree and a bad picture.
I see the trees through the forest with this boy. You judged an OLD picture of him taken eons ago. The picture should never have been let out. Croupes develop over time during maturity. And I see what the potential is there. He was in Europe for a year and bought as a pup by a very knowledgeable person. He was taken to the USA only because of lack of space in the european kennel and his co-owner here has much more room for him to develop in so many ways. He was not sold because of your assumptions as mentioned above... or to hide him from the world. Yes, I know that goes on in Europe all the time, but not in his case.
There is no hush hush about him. They are taking their time...
Meantime, he was able to produce litters here to titled females to proof he IS a producer. Now he is off to Europe for his own titling all 3 of them, korung etc. This is pretty much all I have to say. I hope this is the end of the story.

Zuni, Of course you know who I am since I always sign with my full name. I did post the only picture I could find on the dog and as you say he does not look so good there. I also agree that such a picture, if not representative of him should have never been published, however, I did pull it out of a link in your website (if you Gina, the Wienerau lady, if not my apologies.)
If he is such a young dog it could not have been taken "eons" ago. In either case, I trust your judgement and I am sure that you have good reasons to breed to him, so I wish you the best of lucks and see you in the shows with his progeny.
