Normally, "flooding" is when someone posts a large number of messages at a very quick rate. The flood protection is one of the ways that the automated software catches spammers, hackers and creeps. But for some reason, our flood catcher seems to be trolling with a very fine net.
If you post a very short message , you might get a flood warning. Just hit your back button on your browser and your reply box, with your message is still there. Give it a minute, hit post, and the message should post just fine.

You mean I don't need to get out my FEMA flood maps?
I was hoping for a nice flood control study.
