Has anyone ever used KIVA lights in their kennels?
They are supposed to be full spectrum light (I think) and kill bacteria.

I'm not familiar with them. The description on their web site sounds like snakeoil to me. UV (ultraviolet) lights are commonly used for disinfection. There are some wall mounted units, commonly used in food processing and pharmaceutical plants, that are located to avoid eye damage but still irradiate the air. Basically, you locate the lamp so you cannot see the bulb, but it irradiates the upper portion of the room. UV can damage the eye. It is also a powerful disinfectant. Here are a couple of relevant sites: www.atlanticuv.com/air/air01.htmwww.uvsystems.co.uk/air/standardproducts.html
