Dogs often get diarrhea when you change their kibble, and sometimes when you change their water source. If the vet does not believe the dog has parasites or a disease that would cause diarrhea, then I’d watch the dog and see if it clears up. Don’t over feed and give plenty of water.
The epilepsy is a greater problem. Sometimes it can be controlled with medication, and sometimes it cannot be controlled well. The meds can be expensive. You need to decide whether the dog is suffering, and whether its quality of life is something that should be preserved. It may be kinder to put the dog to sleep. Or it may not.
It’s a tough decision, and one that only you can make, because only you are observing the dog on a daily basis. But the decision should be made on the basis of the dog’s better interests, not on what feels good to you. Good luck. That’s a tough one.
