My 3 month old female GSD is eating her own crap. Has anyone seen this, and is there anything I can do about it?

Check that she is growing and her stools are small and firm. They may do this if they are not absorbing all the goodness from the food when they first eat it. If her health is fine and she is growing and looking good then the answer to the problem is to remove the faeces as soon as she has toileted.

What are you feeding her? It might be that there is just too much filler in the current food that isn't digested, so she's going back for another bite at the chow. Ughh, huh?
We constantly battled that problem until we started raw feeding. There are products that are supposed to help, but we never found them effective.d The only thing that sort of works is quick clean up, constant watching and a good "leave it" command.
Good luck!

as has been said above the only way to over come this is to pick up as soon as puppy poo's and tell her leave it, wish you luck

I found tripe to be extremely effective. Even if you feed kibble, my friend have been giving about 200 gramm uncleaned tripe a day for a half a year to her doberman puppy now, the problem stopped immediately. The vet agrees too.
