:DHey , does anyone know about a kennel called Assaracus? They have a dog , Eddy of Assaracus, son of Kimbo v. Monchberg. This dog has been 2003Europa champion,Hungarian champion, 2x Ostereichen champion, 8x CACIB etc. I'm thinking of buying a female bred to him....Any info would be greatly appreciated. 8-)Thanks.....Amara

We just imported in Vandor of Assaracus in for Jeff Lund (Schneiden Fels).
Young, incredible temperement. Drives to die for (he was going to be a K9), full hard bite, great bone and struture that floats when he runs in the ring.
Very impressed with the breeding.
Husband is Hungarian and we are checking more into the kennel.

Amara,
No problem. The dogs that we have brought over in the last year have been German lines from Hungarian Kennels.
Two are here at the house and are my husband's next competition dogs. Both are 1/2 Czech and 1/2 German. His current (and retiring dog) is all German lines.
Make sure you get the Besch. from whomever you are getting the dog from. AKC goes back and forth on requiring for the Hungarian dogs. We are lucky - we are members of MNJK and it took 2 weeks (including mailing to us) to get the original Besch. They faxed it to us in two days of notification.
The dollar is falling against the Euro, so do not be surprised at the shipping costs. We ship from Frankfort via Gradlyn (jo Werner is excellent to deal with).
