I do not think the whites are "so called" GSDs, they are GSDs. Their coat colour however is a disqualifying fault as is a blue or liver. If a black and tan male and female carry a recessive gene for white they can produce white puppies in a litter as well as black & tans. You can't say the white is not a GSD and the black and tans are. I do not believe it is a good idea to breed for colour only. I do not know whether I believe all that was on the website link but I did not read it all thoroughly.
