I am putting this on the list because here in Australia we often publish articles when thinks do not go according to plan in our bloodline. As a number of you are in England I would suggest that you look at this article the grandsire of these puppies came to Australia via the UK where he sired a number of litters. To those of you in US again you will have similar bloodlines, from grandfather etc this might assist you in not creating this sort of problem. www.gsdcouncilaustralia.org/vetinfo2.htm#CHONDRODYSPLASIAYou might also like to look at this site for veterinary information. The 2 vets that write the articles are both breeders and judges of German Shepherds here in Australia and the majority of GSD's if there is a problem that is unusual end up at either or these 2 practices including interstate Dogs. I hope this will help all of you. Regards Freundhund

Thank You! This was very interesting information. I've heard of this in the GSD but have never seen pictures. I can only read so much on the computer screen before my eyes start killing me. Thanks for posting this....all us GSD lovers should be aware of this. Brandi
