Wonderful pics of wonderful dogs!!! Are you able to do Schutzhund training? I know that's a touchy subject in the UK.

Yes we are able to do Schutzhund training. These photo's were taken at our local Schutzhund training club. Here is our website if you'd like to take a look www.gsaireland.com/I've just started Schutzhund training with my puppy Chad and we are really enjoying it As a side note Ireland is a seperate country to the UK but it is a touchy subject here too. It is not recognized by our kennel club.

In the U.S., we are JUST at the point of AKC recognizing Schutzhund and incorporating it into their program. NOT without a lot of fighting, for sure. Do you know how dangerous it is to teach dogs to bite? Of course, no dog knows how to bite naturally. <laughing> 9-11 of course changed everything here and it's seen that dogs trained in the protection skills DO have their uses and are worthwhile. The AKC is proceeding very slowly but it looks like they will adopt the working dog program. JanisN
