The Westminster KC show is on USA channel tonight & tomorrow night. The Herding Group will be tomorrow night. The GSD entry is 16 which is quite large for this show.

Yay for Jimmy. But that Newf had me from the time he stepped in the ring. I liked the Corgi too. Must have been a thrill for Jimmy to be showing one of his own at Westminster.

glad the Newfy won. You hardly ever see them win on tv. We've owned them and they are great dogs ;D

I also was rooting for the Corgi & the Newfie. I would have given it to the Corgi.

Normie is the color correct on that Corgi? I thought darker pigment was desired ? I wouldn't know the first thing about Corgi structure, but I liked the Border Collie better to take the herding group. Moved beautifully.

He is a classic red & white. They also come in sable which in Corgis is red & white with black sabling on the back. Then you have tri-color - black, white & tan. Tris come with red or black heads. I didn't like the Border Collie. I don't know anything about them this is just a personal choice. The Corgi was beautiful. Norm Normie is the color correct on that Corgi? I loved the Newfie and got a kick out of the very tiny man showing the St. Bernard. I preferred the Norwich Terrier over the Norfolk Terrier. I must admit that I was most pleased that no variety of Poodle or Les the Pekinese won Best in Show. No offense to fans of either Les or Poodles... I just can't get past the hair. I always enjoy watching the Westminster Show and like the little snipet they do about each breed as it is shown. I've learned quite a bit about a lot of different breeds over the years just from watching.
