Hi everyone,
I just purchased a new GSD puppy, and based on many recommendations, I am currently feeding Canidae dry kibble, with a little cottage cheese, yogurt, and flaxseed oil. I also supplement the food with hamburger, chicken livers, etc., but I had a few questions I was hoping you could help with:
1. Do I still need to give fish oil, since I am giving Flaxseed oil?
2. What about vitamin E? Should I give that as well?
3. I have read a lot about Glucosomine. Should I add that to the diet?
4. Are beef livers good as well?
5. I was considering adding the Solid Gold Sea Meal supplement, but I called Canidae and they recommended against supplements, saying that everything needed was in the food and if I added more, I could mess up the balance. Any opinions?
