For about the last 3 months, I’ve been supplementing Cougar’s diet w/glucosamine tablets. I purchased a good quality, human variety – and feed 1 tablet w/am meal & 1 w/pm meal.
I am almost out of our current bottle. My question is, for those of you that use glucosamine – do any of you use a liquid form? I’ve seen it advertised in Drs. Foster & Smith, and was wondering if the digestion/absorption rate is better w/liquid (vs the tablets)? I’d thought I’d ask before I purchase more. Thanks!

I feed my 2 Royal Canin Maxi for Mature Dogs which has more glucosamine & chrondroitin added than the adult dog formula.
I took Sadie (Gt Dane Newfie mix) to the vet's the week before last just for a check up really as she is 8.5 years old which is quite old for her mix. The vet was delighted with her condition and was amazed at how supple her joints are.
We discussed the food and it was soo funny as the vet himself takes Glucsamine for his own joints ( I do as well) He says it's down to years of lifting heavy dogs.
I take Glucosamine with MSM & Vit C and I find that it helps a lot as I do a lot of lifting in my job.

thanks for all the great replies, everyone! It sounds like the regular varieties work well, so I'll just keep using the tablets.
