Hi everyone
A while a go I suggested we have a book of the month. I had a number of emails saying that they liked the idea including that it will happen on the board soon so i decided to start now.
Firstly I will choose books that are in current print (later this could change). Some months the book might be a breed book the other obedience. Later on we might even discuss controversial books.
I will give Title, Authour, Publisher and ISBN to help those who do not have the book obtain it.
For those who have read the book this is your chance to revisit the book and those who haven't a chance to read the book and learn something <I hope>.
The discussion should begin in the last week of the month, looking at areas you thought particularly helpful, if you had a difficulty understanding a concept put that in as others from this and other readings should be able to help you out. As long as it is discussed with sound comments negative comments will be accepted BUT you cannot write "I didn't like/dislike the book" I want discussion.
This months book will be "Purely Positive Training" Companion to Competition by Sheila Booth Podium Publications ISBN 0-9663020-0-1
Shelia is a writer that most people believe has a lot to offer and I hope that some of you are interested in participating. As I go of to revisit my copy.
Regards
Freundhund
