I started this work at the beginning of the month and, after a half dozen revisions, I have finally completed it. Yay!! I will be entering it in an art competition (is due in March 6, the day after I get home for spring break!). If you want to see the progress, it will be up in my tutorials section soon. Maybe tomorrow. All it needs now is a title.

wow, nice work, Jamie! I'm at a loss when it comes to titles but it's a very cozy picture. Maybe something relating to "in the den"?
Good luck in the competition!

Thank you all for the comments. I do appreciate them. The tutorial for this piece is now up on my site ( www.dancingcavy.com/Tutorials.html ) if you have any interest in seeing how it progressed. I won honorable mention in this same competition last year with my piece "¡Viva!" That one was nice, but I think this one is better. Thank you for the good luck wishes.

Jaimie,
What an expressive work. I would call it Relaxed But Alert. Good luck.

Jamie
I just think we are so lucky having you and your talent on this board.
Thank you very much for sharing with us your beautiful new work. I would like to wish you the best of luck in the competition. I apologise as I have no name suggestions for you.
Regards

Hi Jamie, I hope that your work does well! To me, the leaves look like Fall leaves, so would you incorporate a season in the title? I don't know what wolves do in the fall, but the feeling that I get is that the animal is very content.

I agree with the others about your beautiful work--does look really content with self & life. How about "Full Tummy"?

That is very lovely, Jamie! How fortunate you are to have such a talent! I would call it "Time Out".
Good luck with it!
