For those of us who don't know - what happened?? In courage test you have to wait till the helper attacks you from the blind. But dogs are not used to that, so they want to hold and bark. If that happens you have another 2 tries, which you can even take later on in the day. So Pajas ran out to "hold and bark", so he left the handler too early, but the helper decided to go for it anyway. So while handler was yelling " aus, hiiiiiier" the helper attacked, so the dog didn't know what to do and didn't bite. The stadion didn't like the judges decision to give him not sufficent. It was so obviousely helpers fault. You could see the handler was expecting another try.... SO WAS I. But he didn't get one.... Totally unfair.

Did Pajas have any progeny there? He is certainly a very attractive dog. The Swedes seem to be producing a lot of dogs I like.

Markallen is an awesome dog. I looked for a picture of him but was unsuccessful. I'll try later. But he is a very nice male, stinks what happened to him.

I will have to say that the most special dog that I have seen or heard of is a World UNIVERSAL Sieger.... V-Camp v. Muhlteich SchH 3, FH 2, Kkl 1... Now, many will think that I am being just a *tad* bit biased ( ) because Camp is now sitting under my desk as I type, BUT.. to know this dog is to LOVE this dog. He is a lot nicer in structure than most show dogs out there, and his accomplishments on the working field will blow many away. Fred Lanting noted the awesome power and precision of this incredible male during the bitework at the 2000 Sieger Show. Having made his BH to SchH 3 in less than 2 months, all with 'V' rated scores, being the LG-14 Sieger only 4 months after attaining his BH, a very respectable V-Rating at the Sieger Show, and then finishing in the top placings at the BSP with only achieving his BH 6 months prior.... Camp then went on to achieve his FH 1 and FH 2, after a crippling car accidend which sadly ended his working career. This dog and his accomplishments calls for respect and acknowledgement for strength of character and power. Camp was purchased at the age of 3 1/4 years by the very well respected Heinz Balonier, who guided him to his BH-SchH 3, with only about 1 1/2 months of foundation work.... Camp has been bred to both show and working lines, and he is showing to reproduce himself (in both super drives, structure and presence) time and time again. The Training and Breeding programs of the Guide Dog Services have been in awe of the stability of offspring, and the hip record that is being carried forward. They are now starting to seek out the services of this dog for his progeny. Camp is a power-house, who is very intimidating to those who do not know him, but, he is the most stable dog around. This dog will get my vote at all times....... ;D

I love all of them German shepherds! God how can anybody say that they don’t? They are absolutely beautiful! My favorites are (Not by ordered, which will be too hard to decide) <snip> Belschik von Eicken-Bruche (My favoritre working line dog) *above snipped for brevity* funny you should mention this dog...he is sitting here beside me right now. David and Josh are two of my very good friends, when they moved to florida recently, they decided to leave Belschik in my care, he is more wonderful than i ever knew..he has adjusted to housedog life just as quick and easy as could be. At his age 11.5 yrs young, he is still a spry one...he is still TOTALLY physically sound, and mentally sound as well. I am looking forward to my bitch being bred to him this coming spring..this is an awesome dog, and a heck of a fine producer! Belschik was just bred last week to a wonderful SchH1 dutch import bitch owned by a super nice guy in TN..so we will keep our fingers crossed for some more little Belschiks to be running around soon. I have many favorite dogs, but I have to say, having spent all the time I did with Belschik in the last 8 mos, as well as more recently when he moved in to my home has really moved him up to the top spot now. He is a once in a lifetime dog, and I am just happy and honored to have him in my life...as well as his owners, Josh and David Kiewel. Here is a pic of the old mad man taken this past summer, right around his 11th birthday..
